Hypnotherapy in Bristol for Anxiety and Stress
I am happy to share that from March 2022, I will be offering in-person appointments again. I will be based at The Practice Rooms, in a historic Grade II listed Georgian building on Queen Square in the heart of Bristol. 55 Queen Square is easily accessible by car, bus, and train. Nearby parking includes the NCP Car Park on Prince Street (2 minutes walk from Queen Square), The Grove Car Park (a 2-minute walk), and Wapping Wharf Car Park (an 8-minute walk).
Queen Square is a magnificent Georgian park area surrounded by trees and cobbled streets of Georgian houses. It has often been used as a filming location and is only a few minutes walk from Bristol Old Vic, the oldest continually-operating theatre in the English-speaking world. I will also continue to support clients online, helping those who prefer teletherapy or live further a-field.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I use Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, an evidence-based, modern psychotherapeutic approach. This form of therapy is an effective treatment that helps to build resilience through talking therapy and Hypnosis. In the sessions, we explore and work to change how you see yourself and how you think about your life.
We look at unhelpful thoughts and behaviour, setting goals that include carrying out tasks between appointments. It is a collaborative process where we work together to help you find answers to problems, and it’s my job to ask the right questions to help you find solutions that allow you to take back control and move forward. Hypnosis or ‘trance’ is a natural state where the mind can relax and then focus on thoughts and suggestions that help you change the way you see the problem.

It has been my privilege over the last 10 years to guide and support clients to build the resilience they need to manage various issues, including anxiety and stress – and ultimately lead happier lives.
I have had the pleasure of supporting a range of people from all walks of life online and in person, in the public and private sectors and specialist areas of performance psychology – fear of public speaking, stage fright, and optimal performance in the performing arts and sports performance.
