Therapy for Life’s Challenges & Stress-Related Conditions

Some of my clients come to me through GP recommendations, especially when they’re looking for therapeutic support that’s grounded, compassionate, and personalised. I also support clients navigating personal challenges such as preparing for medical procedures, recovering from sports injuries, and managing stress-related conditions like IBS, shy bladder syndrome, and immune as well as voice disorders. During the pandemic, I worked closely with essential workers, providing a space to build resilience and process extreme stress. I also collaborate with organisations to help employees regulate their nervous systems, manage anxiety, and build confidence in performance-focused settings such as meetings, panels, and presentations.

Bristol Speakers Club – Building Confidence

As co-founder of Bristol Speakers Club, I help individuals build confidence in public speaking through a psychologically informed, body-based approach. At the club, I draw on my background to guide people toward feeling more present, grounded, and authentic, not through pressure or perfection, but through practice, experimentation, and embodied confidence, working with the body, breath, and nervous system.

My practice integrates Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH), a modern therapeutic approach that draws on elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), mindfulness, and positive psychology. This integrative model emphasises clients’ strengths and resources, focusing on solutions rather than problems. By incorporating these evidence-based techniques, SFH supports clients in clarifying their goals, envisioning a preferred future, and developing practical strategies to work toward meaningful change.

Online & In-person availability in Bristol and beyond

Sessions are available in Bristol and London, with online options for local, national, and international clients. For those who find movement supportive to their therapeutic process, I also offer walking and talking coaching – a dynamic, flexible approach that takes place outdoors.
