I’m Annette Sloly BA (Hons), DSFH, HPD (CNHC, MNCH Reg), a Senior Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Performance Anxiety Coach with over 14 years’ clinical experience.

I help adults manage anxiety, nerves, stress, and self-doubt, regulate their nervous system under pressure, and approach high-stakes moments with clarity and confidence, supporting a shift from self-criticism to self-compassion. I see clients in Bristol (Clifton & Queen Square), London, and online across the UK.

Who I Work With

I work with adults across many fields, including the arts, media, law, the civil service, healthcare, education, business, trades, and engineering.

Drawing on broad experience, I’ve developed an attuned, nuanced way of listening and a knack for asking the questions that shift perspective, open insight, and create momentum. I draw on approaches including Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, NLP, the GROW model, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, ACT principles, and counselling skills.

My work is grounded in extensive CPD, including current ADHD research, stress and resilience, psychoneuroimmunology, and counselling. During the pandemic, I supported many frontline workers navigating sustained pressure and uncertainty.

You’re welcome to book a complimentary 10-minute introductory call to discuss your goals, ask questions, and decide whether hypnotherapy is the right fit for you.

If you prefer, you can book a full consultation directly, either online or in person, without an introductory call. Some clients come via their GP or through personal recommendation.


Scope of Work

I support people with anxiety, stress, and confidence-related concerns.

I do not work with chronic pain, neurological conditions, specific mental health conditions, eating disorders, or weight management. Hypnotherapy is a supplementary approach and not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. I work alongside, not in place of, a client’s healthcare team.

Alongside my clinical practice, I’m involved in Bristol Speakers Club, which I co-founded, to help people feel more confident, grounded, and present when speaking in public.

Our approach is psychologically informed and body-based, drawing on breathwork, movement, and nervous system regulation. We focus on authentic communication through practice and experimentation, not perfection.
